You can find us over at Madhuban in Paradip, specifically at Quarter No. MII/34. It’s part of the housing area here in the Jagatsinghpur district of Orissa. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building, it’s more of a lived-in space that we’ve converted for our L&T Oman LLC operations here. Being in a residential quarter means things are a bit more relaxed. We know our neighbors and they know us. The weather in Paradip can be quite humid because we’re so close to the coast, so the AC is always running in the office. We spend a lot of time coordinating things from here, mostly involving the port activities or local logistics. There’s a small garden area out front that someone tries to keep tidy, though the salt air makes it tough for some plants. Inside, it's pretty packed with desks and filing cabinets. We use every inch of space we have. Most of the staff comes from the local area or nearby towns, so there’s a lot of Odia spoken around the office alongside English. Lunchtime is usually a communal affair where we share whatever we’ve brought from home. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations. We’re here to work and make sure the projects keep moving. It feels like a small community inside this little quarter in Madhuban.
