Over here in the Kalinga Nagar Industrial Estate, we house the finance and accounts team for the Jajpur Road operations. The office is overseen by the Vice President of the department. It is a big industrial area in Orissa, so there is always a lot of activity and heavy vehicles moving around outside. Being in the 755026 area means we are right where the action is for Jindal Stainless Limited. Our day is mostly filled with numbers, spreadsheets, and keeping track of the budget for the various plant activities. It is a serious environment because we have to be careful with the records. The office is fairly standard for an industrial estate, nothing too flashy, just functional desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with the paperwork that keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. The heat in Orissa can be intense, so the fans are always going. We don't really have visitors often, but when we do, they are usually here for business. It is a practical space for practical people. Most of us have been working in Kalinga Nagar for years and we are used to the industrial landscape. We focus on getting the accounts settled and making sure the financial side of the company stays on track. It is a lot of hard work and attention to detail, but that is what we do here every single day to stay on top of things.
