B. C. Bricks

B. C. Bricks is based out in Village Panikoili. We are right in the heart of the village area, and the post office is also called Panikoili, so it’s easy to remember. Our work is mostly outdoors, dealing with the clay and the ovens. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and it’s what we’ve always done here in the district. The village is quiet most of the time, except for when we are moving the bricks around or when the trucks come in. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it. We don’t have a fancy corporate office or a big website. We just have our yard and the bricks we make. People from the surrounding areas know where to find us in Panikoili. We wake up when the sun comes up and we finish when it goes down. It’s a long day, but it feels good to see the stacks grow. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice and we have to wait for things to dry, which can be frustrating. But that’s just part of the cycle. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It’s just making bricks in the village like our families have done for a while. If you come through the district and head toward Panikoili, you’ll see our place easily enough. We are just local people doing local work who take things one day at a time without much worry or fuss.
