Choudhary Sand Stone

Choudhary Sand Stone is out here on the Jodhpur Bypasspali at Shop No. G3. It gets pretty dusty with all the trucks going by, but that is just how it is around here. We spend most of the day moving slabs around. Some are heavy and some are easier to handle. People stop by when they are building something new or fixing a wall. Most of the stone comes from the local quarries nearby. It is hard work and the sun gets really hot in the afternoon. We keep a few stools inside the shop for when someone wants to sit and talk about what they need for their house. The yard is usually full of blocks and cut pieces. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy because we are busy loading and unloading. We have been at this spot for a while now. Neighbors know us as the stone guys near the bypass. We do not have fancy displays. Most of what you see is just stacked up and ready to go. The floor in the office always has a bit of sand on it no matter how much we sweep. It is just part of the job when you deal with sandstone all day. We keep the ledger on a wooden desk that has seen better days. If you are looking for us, look for the big piles of rock right by G3. It is not hard to find if you are driving toward Pali.
