Vishawkarma Travels

We have been running Vishawkarma Travels here in Pokaran for a good while now. Our spot is right on Jaisalmer Road, which most people know is pretty close to the Old Bus Stand. It is a busy area but easy to find once you are nearby. We deal with people who need to get around Jaisalmer and the surrounding desert parts. It started small with just a few vehicles and we still keep things pretty simple. There is no big office with fancy chairs or anything like that. Just a desk and some phones and maybe a few old calendars on the wall. Living in a place like this, you learn that things don't always go exactly as planned, especially with the heat and the dusty roads. We try to keep our cars in decent shape so they don't give up in the middle of a trip, but even then, the sand can be tough on engines. People come to us when they need a ride for a wedding or just to get to the next town over for some work. Sometimes we help tourists who get off the bus and don't know where to go next. We know these roads like the back of our hand because we grew up driving them. It is hard work and the days are long, especially when it is hot out, but that is just how it is here. We do not promise anything fancy, just a way to get from one place to another without too much trouble. If you are near the bus stand, you can just walk over and talk to us.
