Sanjivani General Hospital

Sanjivani General Hospital is situated in Mevada Bhawan on Bahta Road. If you know the Nachana area in Jaisalmer, you probably know where Mistri Market is located. We are right there in that hub. The hospital takes up a decent amount of space in the building. It’s not a brand new building, but it’s sturdy and everyone in the market knows us. Sometimes the sand from the desert gets into the corners even though we try to sweep it out every morning. Being in 345028, we see a lot of people from the local villages who travel in. The rooms are basic. We have beds and the usual equipment you would expect to find in a general hospital. It can get quite loud during the day because of all the activity in Mistri Market right outside our doors. People are always shouting or moving things around. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a front desk where we take down names and details. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are okay for now. We mostly focus on making sure there is enough water and that the fans are working because Jaisalmer gets incredibly hot in the summer months. It is just a regular local hospital doing what it can for the folks around here. We are usually here until late evening when the market starts to quiet down and the street lights come on.
