Rajesh Kirana Store

Rajesh Kirana Store is located at Shop No-151 on Hanuman Chowk in Jaisalmer. We are right next to the Bhatia Market, so the area is always full of people doing their shopping. We have been running this kirana store for many years now. It is a small shop, but we have it packed with everything from spices to household cleaners. It might look a bit disorganized to someone else, but we have our own system for finding everything on the shelves. When the shop gets crowded, it can be hard for people to move around, but our customers are used to it. We see many of the same people every week, mostly families from the nearby streets who have been coming to us for a long time. We don't use computers or have a website, we just talk to our customers and write things down by hand. Jaisalmer can be incredibly hot, so we do our best to keep the shop shaded for whoever comes in. We are just regular folks trying to run a helpful business for the neighborhood. It is long hours and we are on our feet most of the day, but we enjoy the company and the talk. Being near the market means we always know what is happening in town. We just keep going, one customer at a time, making sure they get what they need.
