Our base is in Village Chandhan, right near the Chandhan Bus Stand in the Jaisalmer district. Being out here in the desert means the work is often hot and very dusty, but we’re used to that. We handle engineering and construction projects around this part of Rajasthan. The office isn't much more than a place to store our plans and meet with the crews before we head out to the job. You can usually find us out at a construction site rather than sitting behind a desk. We work on various local building projects, from small residential structures to larger infrastructure tasks for the community. The bus stand nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We deal with the local materials and the specific challenges that come with building in this desert climate. It’s hard work, but it’s satisfying to see a project actually get finished and put to use by the locals. We don't go in for big marketing or fancy presentations. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we’ve built in the past and asking us to help them too. We keep our tools and machinery in good shape as best as we can. Living and working in Jaisalmer district means you have to be tough and very practical. We just show up every day and do the construction work that needs to be done for our clients in the village and beyond.
