K.K. Bhargav Desert Safari Camp

If you head out toward the Sam Sand Dunes, you’ll find us. K.K. Bhargav Desert Safari Camp is located right across from the dunes in Jaisalmer 345001. It’s different out here than in the city center. There is a lot more space and a lot more sand to deal with. We spend our nights under the stars and our days trying to keep the tents in good shape. It’s hard work because the desert isn't always kind to our equipment. We don't have a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. Our office is mostly the open air and some sturdy canvas. We’ve been out here by Sam for quite a while now. We aren't part of a big hotel chain. We are just local people who know how to live in the dunes. We don't use fancy marketing talk about unforgettable experiences or luxury. We just provide a place to stay and a way to see the desert as it is. Sometimes the camels are stubborn and sometimes the wind is too cold at night. That’s just the reality of living out here. K.K. Bhargav Desert Safari Camp is a family-run thing. We do the cooking and the cleaning ourselves. It’s quiet out here once the day-trippers leave in their jeeps. We like the peace of the desert. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular folks living out here by the sand.
