1St Gate Home-Fusion

We are situated right in Dhibba Para, very close to the fort parking area. If you’ve been to this part of town, you know it’s all narrow streets and old stone buildings. Our place is tucked in there among the rest. We spend a lot of time just watching the tourists walk by on their way to the fort. The building has that classic local look, made of the yellow stone that Jaisalmer is known for. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. It’s a mix of a home and a workplace for us. We do a bit of everything—cleaning, fixing things, and talking to people who wander in. It gets incredibly hot here in the summer, so we spend a lot of time trying to stay cool in the shade of the walls. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It is just a small team of us. We handle the daily tasks as they come up. Sometimes we have people staying over, and other times it’s just us working on the property. We like being so close to the fort, even if the parking area gets a bit loud and crowded. It feels like we are right in the middle of things. We don't put on a show or try to be something we aren't. We just live and work here in the heart of the old city. It's dusty and loud but it's where we belong.
