Desert Tours

Desert Tours is right in the heart of Jaisalmer, specifically at Gopa Chowk. We are very close to the Golden Fort, which is hard to miss if you are in this part of town. Our office is situated near the Mid Town Restaurant. It’s a busy area with a lot of tourists and local sellers everywhere. The sand and the heat are just part of our daily life here. We’ve been sitting in this office for years, watching the crowds go by. It’s a simple place. We have a few benches and a lot of brochures that have seen better days. We mainly help people who want to see the desert or get around the city. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. If someone comes in, we tell them the price and the time. Sometimes the camels are ready, sometimes they aren't. That’s just how it goes in Jaisalmer. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the sun to go down a bit. The fort looks nice from our doorstep, especially when the light hits it. We aren't a corporate chain. We are just a local spot where you can sit down and talk about where you want to go next. It gets loud with the motorbikes and the chatter from the restaurant next door, but we like it that way. It feels real and grounded in the city.
