Caravan Safari

Our office for Caravan Safari is right in the heart of Jaisalmer at Gandhi Chowk. If you have ever been to the city, you know how busy and lively that area is. We are surrounded by all the noise and energy of the market, which suits us just fine. We have been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The building is old, like most things in Jaisalmer, and it has a lot of character even if the walls are a bit cracked. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There are a few benches for people to sit on and a desk where we handle all the paperwork for the safaris. We spend a lot of our time talking to people about the desert and explaining how the trips work. It's not a corporate setup at all. We are just local people who know the sands and the camels. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through the chowk, but that is just life in the desert. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who grew up here in the city. We spend our mornings checking on the equipment and our afternoons meeting with travelers. It’s a simple life, and we enjoy meeting people from all over who want to see the dunes. You can usually find us sitting outside the door in the evenings when the air cools down a bit. We are just here to help you get out into the desert without any fuss.
