Aashi Tours & Travels

My family has been here in Jaisalmer forever. We started Aashi Tours & Travels because we know these roads like our own backyard. It’s mostly just us and a couple of cars. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time, but we are right here in the 345001 area. Most days I’m either on the phone or checking the tires. Jaisalmer is a small place really, once you get to know the corners. We spend a lot of time waiting for the sun to go down so it gets cooler in the evenings. People ask us where to go and we just tell them what we know. There isn't much to it, just driving and showing the desert. Sometimes the sand gets in everything, even the paperwork. My cousin helps me out when things get busy during the festival times. We don't do big ads. Usually, someone just walks up or calls. The address is just Jaisalmer, we don't need much more than that for people to find us. It’s a quiet life mostly. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, but the sand stays the same.
