Yash Garg Designer

My workspace is at 106 Nand Puri Colony in Malviya Nagar. I’m Yash Garg, and I do design work from here. It’s a decent-sized room with a big table where I can spread out my materials and drawings. Malviya Nagar is a good spot, there are always plenty of things happening nearby. I’ve lived in this colony for a bit, so I’m used to the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. Being a designer means I spend a lot of time looking at colors and shapes on a computer screen or on paper. It’s not always glamorous work. Sometimes I’m just trying to make things fit into a space that’s too small or dealing with a light that won't work. I work with local clients mostly. People come by the house to discuss their projects and look at samples. It’s very informal and relaxed. I usually have some music playing in the background while I work. There are always samples of fabric, wood, or tile sitting around on the floor. I try to keep things simple and functional for every project. The commute is non-existent since I’m right here at home. Sometimes the kids in the colony get a bit loud outside during the evenings, but I don't really mind the noise. It’s a real place, not some sterile studio. I just do my best to create designs that people actually like and can use.
