Desire Lighting House

You can find Desire Lighting House over at No. 283 Vivek Vihar, which is right on New Sanganer Road. It is a very bright place, for obvious reasons, because we have so many different lights hanging from the ceiling and fixed to the walls. Sometimes when we have to turn everything on at once to show a customer, the temperature inside goes up quite a bit from all the bulbs. We spend a lot of our time testing different lights and fixing old wires. If a light does not work properly, we have to sit down and figure out why before anyone takes it home. The shop is a bit cluttered because we have boxes of fixtures and spare parts piled up in all the corners. It is not a very large space, so we have to use every inch of the walls. New Sanganer Road is always busy and noisy, so there is a constant hum of traffic outside our door. We get people coming in looking for something simple for their kitchen or maybe just a new ceiling fan. We don’t have a big staff here, just a couple of us who know exactly where the spare parts are kept. We have to use a tall ladder a lot to reach the higher shelves. Sometimes we drop things, which is never a good thing when you work with glass, but we try to be careful. It’s a regular shop where we try to keep things organized.
