Vivan Hospital

Vivan Hospital on Queens Road in Vaishali Nagar is where we spend most of our time. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you aren't used to it. The hallways are narrow, and we’ve had to tuck filing cabinets into the corners because there just isn’t enough space. It’s a practical setup though. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who walk in from the street. Sometimes it’s just someone asking for directions, other times it’s more serious. The air conditioner in the waiting area makes a weird rattling noise every twenty minutes, but it keeps the place cool enough. Vaishali Nagar is always moving, and we feel that energy inside the walls too. The staff usually brings their own lunch, and you can smell different spices in the breakroom around noon. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us making sure things run right. The charts are mostly paper, and we spend a lot of time writing things down by hand. It’s been this way for a while. We know the shopkeepers nearby, and sometimes they come in for a quick check. It feels like a part of the local scenery now. We don't do much in the way of big events. We just open up in the morning, do the rounds, and hope the power doesn't go out during a storm.
