We’ve been set up here at E-418, Rd. No. 14 for a good while now. Most people around this part of the industrial area just know us as Basant Wire Industeis Pvt. Ltd. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in and out. We handle a lot of wire work every single day. It’s mostly metal and heavy machines running from morning until the evening. The floor gets pretty noisy and dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re making things from scratch. We don't have a big fancy office or a lobby. There is just a desk, some old chairs, and the workshop area out back where all the actual work happens. If you walk past our gates, you'll see the stacks of raw materials piled up high. Our crew stays pretty busy. Some of the guys have worked here since they were young men. We just get on with the job. There’s always more wire to be wound or cut to size. It isn't very glamorous work, to be honest with you. It gets quite hot in the summer and the machines need constant oiling just to keep them going. We keep a simple ledger for our orders and try to stay organized, though paperwork isn't really our favorite thing to do. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. Then it is back to the machines.
