Our workshop, Vishwa Prakashak Moorti Shilp Art, is tucked away in Chand Pole Bazar. To find us, you have to go down Bhindon Ka Rasta and then look for Ganesh Ji Ki Gali. We are at number 3068. This part of Jaipur is very old and the streets are quite narrow. There is always a lot of activity in the bazar, with people buying all sorts of things and scooters weaving through the crowds. Inside our space, you will find a lot of stone and marble. There is usually the sound of hammers and chisels because we are always working on some kind of art or statue. The air is often thick with white dust from the carving process. It's a traditional kind of place, and we have been at this address for many years. Ganesh Ji Ki Gali is a small lane, so it stays a bit cooler than the main market area, which is nice in the summer heat. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It's more of a working studio where you can see the pieces being made right there. Neighbors often stop by to chat or see what we are working on. It's a close-knit community here in Chand Pole, and we like being part of it.
