Vinod Singhal & Co is right in the middle of the action at Ganpati Plaza on M I Road. Our office is number 207. If you know Jaipur, you know M I Road is always moving. Ganpati Plaza is a big landmark, so nobody ever gets lost trying to find us. Being on the second floor means we are away from the worst of the street noise, but you can still feel the energy of the building. The office is a bit tight with all the cabinets we need for storage, but we make it work. We have been here for years, and we have a routine that hasn't changed much. We show up, check the mail, and start working on the accounts. It’s a lot of detail-oriented stuff, so we try to keep the distractions down. The plaza has plenty of shops and other offices, so there is always someone around. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and you'll see us at our desks. It’s a very practical setup. We handle a lot of different things for our clients, from basic bookkeeping to more complex tax stuff. We just take it one file at a time. It’s a steady place to get work done, and we plan on staying at Ganpati Plaza for a long time yet. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza is slow, so we just take the stairs to get to the office faster in the mornings. It keeps us fit, I guess, even if it’s just two floors.
