Vikas Clinic

This clinic is located in the 22 Godam area. If you know this part of town, you know it is mostly warehouses and industrial sheds, so it is not the quietest place to have a medical office. We are right in the middle of all that activity. The building is simple, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We have been here for a good amount of time now, seeing people who work nearby or live in the surrounding pockets. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and getting the dust off the benches. It gets quite dusty here because of all the trucks passing through the main roads. Inside, we have a small desk and a few rooms for seeing patients. It is a practical setup. We do not have fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they serve their purpose for now. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People stop in on their way to work or during their lunch breaks. It can get a bit cramped when more than five people are waiting, but we manage. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps when we are looking at charts. We just do our daily job here, keeping the records in order and making sure the door stays open for whoever needs to come in. It is a steady routine for us.
