Shree Transformers

Our place is out on Road No. 9 in the V.K.I. Area. It is a big industrial zone. It is always loud with trucks and machines nearby. Shree Transformers is located at F-654. We deal with transformers all day. There is usually a lot of oil on the floor. The smell of metal is everywhere. It is not a clean job. Moving these things around takes a lot of effort. Sometimes the crane gets stuck. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time. The heat in the summer inside the shed is something else. We keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. You see a lot of copper wire and steel casings piled up in the corners. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just find us in the back with the tools. We write things down in a notebook that sits on a dusty table. The V.K.I. Area is a tough place to work but it is where all the action is. Sometimes the tea stall guy comes around. That is the highlight of the afternoon. We just focus on getting the coils right and making sure the tanks don't leak. It is basic work but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The floor is cracked in places and the ceiling has some water stains from the last big storm.
