Urban Design Architects

We've been working out of our office in Vaishali Nagar for a while now. Most days it's just us at D6 / 62, looking over blueprints and trying to get the drawings right for the next site visit. Jaipur is a busy place, but being here in 302021 works well for us. Urban Design Architects isn't a massive firm, just a group of people who know their way around a building site. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and making sure things are actually getting built the way they should be. Sometimes things get messy, but that's just how the job goes. We don't really do fancy presentations. It’s more about the practical side of things. If you walk past the office, you’ll probably see us with coffee cups and stacks of paper. We handle a mix of projects, from small houses to bigger stuff around the city. It’s a lot of coordination. Dealing with local rules and making sure everything fits the space takes time. We’ve learned that things rarely go perfectly according to plan, so we stay flexible. People in the neighborhood know where to find us. We keep our hours pretty regular, though some evenings we stay late to finish up a design. It’s just how we work here at Urban Design Architects. There’s always another project on the desk and another site to go see tomorrow morning.
