Unique Paper Collections

Down on Sikarpura Road in Sanganer, you’ll find us at Ramesingh Pura. This area is famous for paper, and Unique Paper Collections is just one of the many spots where the craft is still alive. Our place isn't fancy at all. It’s mostly open space where we can handle the large sheets of paper we work with. The ground is often a bit damp from the processes we use, and there’s always paper drying somewhere in the sun. Sanganer has this specific feel to it—dusty, busy, and very traditional. We don't have an air-conditioned office or a reception desk. Usually, you’ll find us in our working clothes, with our hands a bit stained or dusty from the materials. We spend our time checking the texture of the paper and making sure it feels right. It’s a slow process sometimes, and you can’t really rush the drying time. We’ve been here in Ramesingh Pura for a long time, and we’ve seen the road change, but our way of doing things stays pretty much the same. People come by to see the different types of paper we have, and we just show them what’s available on the wooden racks. There are no big promises or marketing talk here. We just make the paper and hope people find a good use for it. It’s a quiet life, mostly, punctuated by the arrival of a truck or a visitor from out of town.
