Unifreight India Pvt. Ltd operates out of Sinodiya village. It’s in the Sambher Lake tehsil, which is part of the Jaipur district. Being near the salt lake makes for some interesting scenery, though it can get really dusty and dry out here. We have a small office that serves as our main base for this area. It’s not much to look at, just a functional space where we handle all the logistics stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people in Jaipur and other parts of Rajasthan. The work is mostly about figuring out schedules and making sure the freight is moving. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just do the work we said we would do. If the truck is supposed to be there by noon, we do our best to make that happen, though sometimes the desert roads have other plans. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready environment. We wear work clothes, drink a lot of water from the cooler, and try to keep things organized despite the chaos that sometimes happens in transport. We’ve been in the Sinodiya area for a while now, and we’re comfortable here. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just move freight.
