We are based in Jaipur, right on Station Road. Our place is 8-D, Villa. It is a very busy street with people and rickshaws always passing by. Being in Jaipur, we work with granites. Stone is a big deal in Rajasthan, and we have been part of it for many years. We have slabs of granite in all different colors and patterns. Some of them are really beautiful once they get polished up. We spend our days moving these heavy stones around. It is not an easy job and your hands get rough after a while. We do not have a high-end showroom with air conditioning and fancy lights. We are just a regular yard where the real work happens. You might get a bit of dust on your shoes if you visit, but that is part of the trade. We just want to sell good stone to people who are building houses or offices. We do not use any slick sales talk. We show you the granite, we tell you the price, and we figure out the transport. We know a lot of truck drivers who help us get the stone to where it needs to go. The sun gets really hot here in the middle of the day, so we usually take a long break and then get back to it when it cools down. It is a traditional way of working but it has served us well for a long time.
