We are located right on N H 8 in Shahpura, near the Bajaj Dharm Kanta and just opposite the Truck Union. Being on the highway means we see a lot of heavy traffic, mostly big lorries and long-distance trucks. Our place, which locals know as Balaji Associates, is where we handle a lot of tyre-related work, especially for the Apollo brand. It’s a dusty, hot spot, especially in the Rajasthan summer, but it’s the right place for what we do. We have stacks of tyres everywhere, from small ones for cars to those massive ones for multi-axle trucks. The team here is used to the heat and the hard work of changing heavy tyres. It’s not a clean job; your hands are always black with rubber and grease by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning or fancy chairs. It’s more of an open yard and a functional shed. Drivers stop by because they know we are near the truck union and the weight scale. We talk to a lot of different people every day, mostly truckers who are far from home and looking for a quick fix. We just try to get them back on the road as quickly as we can. It’s a simple, rugged business. We don’t use fancy words or marketing tricks. We just sell tyres and fix them when things go wrong.
