Agarwal Hardware Tools Store

Our store, Agarwal Hardware Tools Store, is tucked away at 147 Nataniyon Ka Rasta in the middle of the Tripolia Bazar area. This part of town is always crowded and noisy, with the sounds of metal hitting metal and people shouting to be heard over the traffic. Inside the shop, it’s a bit of a maze. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with hammers, wrenches, boxes of screws, and heavy iron tools. You can smell the grease and the cold metal as soon as you walk through the door. It is a family-run kind of place where things have been kept in the same spot for years. We know exactly where every small washer is, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of boots walking over it. Every morning we roll up the metal shutters and start putting some of the bigger items out front so people can see what we have. Tripolia Bazar has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that daily bustle. When it rains, the water drips off the awnings, and we have to move the cardboard boxes further back so they don't get soggy. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we just keep going through the list of customers and orders until the sun sets and we can finally lock the doors for the night.
