If you head down to the Main Market in Kotputli, you’ll find us near the Shankar Kirana Store. We’re in Ward No. 15, right in the heart of the Purani Subji Mandi area. It’s a very lively part of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is out getting their groceries. Thermax Eng. Con. Co. has been operating out of this spot for a bit, and we’ve gotten quite used to the noise of the market outside. It’s Jaipur district, so it has that specific Rajasthan feel where everyone knows their neighbors. Our office isn't large, but it serves its purpose. We deal with engineering and construction stuff, mostly keeping track of materials and schedules. The floor is usually a bit dusty because of all the activity on the street, and we’re constantly cleaning it. There’s a ceiling fan that’s seen better days but still works okay. We don't have fancy furniture; it's mostly wooden tables and some old metal cupboards for the files. Most of our guys are out on sites during the day, so it’s often just a couple of us in the office handling the paperwork. We drink a lot of water and chat about the local news when things get slow. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby; we just want to do the work that needs doing in our community.
