The Creative Group

The Creative Group is situated in Mahesh Nagar, specifically in Mahesh Colony near the JP Phatak crossing at M-114. The location is pretty easy to find once you get used to the local turns and traffic. Our workspace is a bit of a mix of things. We have a few computers that are always running and a big table in the middle where we eat lunch and talk about projects. It’s not a silent office; there is usually some music playing or someone complaining about the long wait times at the Phatak. We do various types of design and planning work, and it often involves a lot of back-and-forth discussion between us. We don’t really use fancy terms for what we do. We just try to make things look right and work well for whoever is asking us for help. The shelves are packed with books and old folders that we probably should have cleared out years ago. We’ve got a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always on. We are just a small group of people who enjoy working on different things and staying busy. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. People drop in, we have some tea, and we look at whatever drawings or plans are currently being worked on. It is a very grounded environment without any corporate stuffiness or formal hierarchies to deal with on a daily basis. We just work and go home.
