Tandon Eye Centre

Our place is located at Achrol House, right behind Mysore House in the Civil Lines area. If you know where Ajmer Pulia is, we aren't too far from there. It’s a pretty central part of town, so there are always people walking by or cars trying to find a parking spot nearby. We spend most of our time doing eye exams and helping people figure out why their vision isn't as clear as it used to be. The rooms are set up with all the standard testing charts and machines that beep. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, which is a nice change from the noise out on the street. We’ve got a small team here, just a few of us making sure the appointments stay on track. Sometimes we get behind if a case is complicated, but that’s just how it goes in a clinic. We see everyone from students who can't see the blackboard to older folks who need help with their reading glasses. The building itself is an older one, so it has that solid feel to it. We try to keep the waiting room comfortable, though it’s nothing special to look at. Just a few chairs and some old magazines on the table. Most days are pretty much the same—checking eyes, writing out prescriptions, and chatting with the regulars who have been coming here for years. It’s a steady job and we like being in this neighborhood.
