Our office and yard are located at D-8, Kabir Marg, in the Bani Park area. It’s actually a pretty nice part of town, not as gritty as the industrial zones, but we still have a lot of work going on every day. We deal in plywood and boards of all kinds. The stacks of wood are piled up high in the back, and it always has that specific woody, glue-like smell around the place. We’ve been operating out of this location for a good while. The building itself is an older style, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down on Kabir Marg in the summer. We spend most of our time talking to contractors and furniture makers who need specific thicknesses for their jobs. It’s a lot of loading and unloading, and my back definitely feels it at the end of the day. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so that when someone shows up with a truck, we don't have to turn them away. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when the big deliveries come in early, but we try to keep it down as much as we can. It’s a straightforward business, just moving wood from one place to another and making sure the tally is correct at the end of the month.
