SUMIT GEMS

Our shop, Shop A-9, is located in Amerion Ki Gali, which is just off Gopalji Ka Rasta. This is a very old and famous part of the city, known for its long history with precious stones. The lanes here are extremely narrow, and it’s always a bit of a squeeze when people are passing by. Our shop is quite small, but it’s all we need to do our work. We deal with gems, and we have been in this spot for a long time. It’s not a modern jewelry store with big display windows and security guards in uniforms. It’s a traditional place where we sit and look at stones. The light in the lane isn't always great, so we have our own lamps to see the colors properly. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy brochures. People who come to Gopalji Ka Rasta usually know what they are looking for. We just show them what we have and talk about the stones. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We know the other jewelers in the lane, and we often talk to each other while sitting outside our shops. There is no corporate structure here. It’s just us and our gems. Sometimes it gets very crowded and noisy, but that is part of the charm of this area. We just keep doing what we’ve always done without any fuss.
