At steady structure, we’re mostly involved with building stuff that stays put. It’s right there in the name, I guess. We do a lot of the basic foundation work and framing that people don't usually see once a building is finished. It’s hard work, and our boots are always dirty by the end of the shift. We started out small, just a couple of guys with a truck and some tools, and it’s grown a bit since then. We don't take on those massive skyscraper projects because that’s not really our speed. We prefer the smaller, local jobs where we can actually see the progress every day. Sometimes the weather messes with our schedule, and we have to sit in the truck waiting for the rain to stop. It’s frustrating but you get used to it. We don't use a lot of fancy software to plan things out; we mostly rely on what we’ve learned from being on-site for years. The coffee at the local shop nearby is what keeps us going in the mornings. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around. We just want to make sure that when we build something, it doesn't fall down or cause problems later on. It’s about being practical and using common sense. Most of our tools are older, but they work just fine if you treat them right and keep them oiled up. We don't mind the long hours when the sun is out.
