Star Marble Moorties

You can find us at Star Marble Moorties, located at B-85 on the 2Nd Cross of Khazane Walon Ka Rasta. This is right in the heart of Chandpole Bazar. It’s a very old part of the city. The lanes are narrow and always full of people and carts moving back and forth. It can get pretty noisy with all the shops around us. We’ve been working here for a long time. There is dust everywhere because of the materials we handle, so we’re always cleaning up. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don’t sit behind desks much. Usually, someone is carving or polishing something in the back. The space isn't very large, but we make it work. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and checking what needs to be finished. We aren't a big corporation. Just a small group of people who know how to handle stone. The name Star Marble Moorties is what’s painted on the wall outside. People in the bazaar know us, so we don't need to do much talking about ourselves. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially in the heat. But it’s what we do. We like being part of the history of this market. If you’re navigating the maze of Chandpole Bazar, you’ll eventually stumble upon our spot. It’s been there for years and we don’t plan on going anywhere. We just keep carving until the sun goes down.
