Star Hospital

Star Hospital is over in Pratap Nagar. It’s a decent area to be in. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The building isn't brand new, but it holds up. Most of us who work here live close enough to walk or take a short ride. In the mornings, you’ll see the tea stall guy setting up just down the street. We usually get our first batch of patients right after breakfast time. The lobby has those blue benches that have been there forever. They aren't the most comfortable, but they get the job done. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, and we have to call the guy to come fix the wiring again. It’s just one of those things about being in an older part of Pratap Nagar. We keep the files in big metal cabinets that creak when you open them. Everything is done by hand mostly. There is a small window in the back office that looks out onto an alleyway where a few stray cats like to hang out. It’s pretty quiet back there compared to the front entrance. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating. A few calendars on the walls and maybe a photo of the staff from a few years ago. It feels like home to us because we spend so much time here. We just try to keep things organized and help whoever walks through the door without making a big fuss about it.
