Being at the Mahima Trinity Mall is a bit different than a regular street shop. We are at G 21-22, right near the Big Bazaar in Sodala. It gets really crowded on the weekends when everyone is out doing their grocery shopping or taking the kids to the mall for the afternoon. Some days it's just a steady stream of people walking past the windows looking at the displays. We spend a lot of time unboxing things and putting them on the shelves. It’s a big space near Swej Farm and we have to keep it somewhat tidy, though things usually get messy when we're in the middle of a busy shift. The mall music plays all day in the background, which you get used to after a while. Most of us have been working here since the shop opened up. We know where every single cable and remote is kept in the back. It’s not a quiet job because there is always some TV or speaker being tested nearby. Sometimes someone comes in just to look at the new screens and stay in the cool air for a bit. We don't mind. The walk from the parking lot is long, so we usually get here early to beat the rush. Lunch breaks are taken in the small back room or at the food court if it’s not too packed with people. It’s just a regular retail life, trying to keep track of inventory and helping whoever walks through the door.
