Being at H1-85 in Sez-2 of the Sitapura Industrial Area means we have to follow a lot of rules. The security at the gate is strict about who comes in and out, which is just part of being in a Special Economic Zone. Our unit is a standard size, and we’ve tried to make the most of the space we have. Inside, the floor is kept as clean as possible, though with all the activity, there is always some clutter. We have a few rows of workstations where the main work happens. The noise is steady, just a hum of machines that you get used to after a few days. We keep a calendar on the wall with all the dates marked out in red ink so we don't forget anything. The break room is just a small table with a kettle and some biscuits. We spend a lot of time checking the details on the items we make. It can be repetitive, but it’s what keeps the business running. Most of us live quite far away, so the commute is a big part of our day. We usually start the morning with a quick meeting to see what needs to be finished by the evening. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief during the summer months. It’s just a regular workplace where everyone knows their job and we try to get home on time.
