Working out of H1-1202 in Phase-3 of the Sitapura Industrial Area means dealing with a lot of traffic in the mornings. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so we all try to get here before the sun starts beating down too hard. The building is simple, just concrete and metal like most of the others on this block. Inside, we have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. There is a shelf near the entrance where we keep all the tools we use most often. Sometimes we lose a wrench and spend twenty minutes looking for it under the benches. The floor is stained from years of work, and there are some cracks near the loading dock. We handle a lot of different jobs depending on what people ask for. Most of the time, it's just regular industrial stuff that doesn't look like much but takes a lot of effort. We sit on plastic stools during the tea breaks and talk about whatever is on the news. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, and we keep saying we’ll fix it next week. It is just a local shop where we put in our hours and try to keep the machines from breaking down. We know most of the people working in the units nearby and say hello when we see them passing.
