Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd.

This place is located at SPL - 3 in the RIICO Industrial Area on Tonk Road. It is a large site because of the kind of work we do with power infrastructure. It isn't like a small shop; there are big gates and security. Inside, it’s mostly about the equipment and the factory floor. The sun in this part of the country is very strong, so the metal buildings get quite warm by noon. We have many people coming in for different shifts. My day is mostly about walking between the office area and the production sections. There is a lot of noise from the machinery and the trucks moving in the yard. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just safety signs and schedules. The parking lot is always full of motorcycles and a few cars. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, so there is always a crane or a forklift moving somewhere. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is on getting the numbers right. We eat in the canteen and talk about the heat or the local news. It’s a big operation, but we just focus on our own tasks. Tonk Road is always busy with traffic, but once you are inside the RIICO area, it feels like its own little world of industry. We’ve been here for a long time, and the routine of the plant is just part of our lives now. We don't do much marketing or outreach, just keep the power systems moving.
