Bajaj Industries

Sitapura Industrial Area is huge and it is very easy to get lost if you do not know the plot numbers. We are at F-369. It is a busy spot with trucks coming in and out all the time. The noise of the machinery is something you just stop hearing after you have been here a few weeks. Bajaj Industries has been around for some time now. We are not related to the big Bajaj company everyone knows. We are just a local outfit doing our own thing. We make industrial components. It is dirty work and our hands are rarely clean at the end of the shift. The floor is solid concrete and hard on the feet. We have a small cabin for the accounts, but mostly everyone is out on the floor working. In the summers, the heat inside the shed is quite something to deal with. We have big fans, but they just move the warm air around. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy ads. We just do what our customers ask for and hope they come back again. Most of them have been with us for years. We buy our supplies from the guys down the road. It is a community of workshops around here. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or advice. It is not a polished business. There are stacks of raw material everywhere and the tea guy comes by twice a day. That is about it.
