Simplex Infrastructures Ltd.

I spend most of my mornings at B-118 in Karni Nagar, which is right by the Lalgarh Palace in Bikaner. It gets really hot out here in the summer months, but the office building stays relatively cool if we keep the heavy curtains closed in the afternoon. Most days at Simplex Infrastructures Ltd., we just get on with whatever paperwork needs doing or we look over the project schedules for the local area. There are a few of us in the office, and we usually have our tea together around four o'clock in the afternoon. It’s a quiet enough area, though you do see quite a lot of tourists heading toward the palace every now and then. We’ve been at this Bikaner location for a while now. The furniture is a bit old and the files are stacked up on the wooden desks, but it works fine for what we need to do. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, which can be annoying when we have to send reports back to the main office, but we manage somehow. We know the local shopkeepers and they know us by name. There isn't any fancy lobby or anything like that here, just a regular front door and some chairs for people to sit if they have to wait. We don’t really do much in the way of big formal meetings; it’s mostly just the day-to-day stuff. Bikaner is a dusty place, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the desks and keeping things tidy.
