Silver Craft

Our workshop is located at 146, Vijay Wadi, just off Path Number 1 near Sikar Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of dust and noise from the traffic nearby. We spend our days working with silver, so there’s a lot of hammering and polishing going on. The shop is small and it gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the torches running. We don’t have any big signs or a shiny storefront. It’s just a plain door that leads into where we work. Most of the silver pieces we make are done by hand, so there are tools lying all over the benches. It looks like a mess to anyone else, but it’s our space. We’ve been at this Sikar Road location for a long time. People who live around Vijay Wadi know us by now. We aren't doing this to get famous or anything. It’s just the trade we know. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps for a break when the air inside gets too thick with the smell of metal. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If people want something made, they usually just walk in and talk to us. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the work. It’s just us and the silver every day. We hope that the things we make last a long time for the people who buy them, but we don't make any grand promises.
