Shyam Hospital

Shyam Hospital is located right by the bus stop at Ganga Pul, which is near Subhash Chowk. If you spend any time around the chowk, you know how busy it gets with the buses and all the people transferring from one place to another. We are in a very high-traffic spot, which means we are easy to find but it can also be a bit loud. The hospital is a plain, multi-story building that has been around for quite a while. We don’t have any of that corporate feel here. It’s just a place where people from the local area and those coming off the buses can get some help. Inside, the hallways are a bit narrow and the paint might be peeling in a few corners, but we keep it clean. We have our daily routines for checking in patients and managing the different rooms. Being near Subhash Chowk means we see a huge variety of people every single day. Some are just passing through and need something quick, while others live right down the street. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that posted on the walls. We just show up, open the doors, and do what needs to be done. The noise of the Ganga Pul traffic is like background music for us now. It’s a busy, unpretentious place that fits right into the middle of the bustle of the local traffic.
