Shyam Dental Hospital

Our hospital is on Agra Road at Laxmi Bhatta. We are pretty close to the Bank of Baroda, which is how most people find us. Agra Road is always moving, so it can be quite a task just getting across the street sometimes. We have a simple setup here at Laxmi Bhatta. It’s a dental hospital, so we have more space than a tiny clinic, but it’s still very much a local operation. We have been here long enough that the sign out front is starting to fade a little. Inside, it’s just plain walls and the usual equipment. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are. Most of our staff lives nearby and they have been working with us for years. We see a lot of the same families coming back. We don't use any corporate scripts when we talk to people. We just say hello and get to work. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded and we have to bring out extra stools. It’s not perfect, but it’s how we’ve always done things. We stay open late most days because people coming from work need to be seen. It’s a straightforward life on Agra Road. We just keep the place running and help whoever comes through the door. That is just how we like to operate.
