Our office is at 3 Tonk Road, which is right on the main road. It is a very central location and very easy to find if you are familiar with the area. Being at number 3 means we are one of the first buildings you see in this stretch. Tonk Road is always moving. There are buses, cars, and pedestrians passing by our door from early morning until late at night. The noise is something you just get used to after a while. Our workspace is pretty basic. We have a long desk and several chairs lined up against the wall. We don't have much room for extras, so every bit of space is used for filing or paperwork. There is a small window in the back that looks out onto an alleyway, which helps with a bit of cross-ventilation. We do most of our work on paper, though we have a computer for the more modern stuff. The building is made of solid stone, so it stays a bit cooler than the street outside. We have a small cupboard where we keep our tea supplies and some snacks. It’s a very busy environment because of the location. People often drop in just because they saw the sign while waiting for the bus. We keep our records in big binders that are stacked on the shelves. It’s an honest, hard-working office where we stay focused on the property tasks at hand.
