We operate out of Ward Number 16 in Shahpura. If you are familiar with this part of Jaipur, you know it’s a pretty traditional area with a lot of history. Our office is right there among the local houses and small shops. It’s a simple building, nothing that stands out too much from the rest of the street. Inside, we have our basic setup with a few tables and some chairs that have seen better days. We don't really care about having the newest things; as long as we have a place to sit and work, we are happy. The neighbors are good people, and we often find ourselves chatting with them across the doorway. Life in Shahpura is steady. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and get started on the day’s tasks. There is no big corporate ladder here, just a few of us making sure everything is handled correctly. We use old-fashioned ledgers sometimes alongside the computer because it feels more reliable. When there is a festival in the ward, the whole street gets decorated and we join in the fun too. It’s a nice place to be. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to be a helpful part of Ward 16. Most people who come in are people we’ve known for years. It makes the work day go by much faster when you’re among friends.
