Shri Nidaan Hospital

If you are driving down Ajmer Road, you will eventually hit Vidhyut Nagar. That is where we are, specifically at No. 27. Shri Nidaan Hospital has been part of this street for a long time. The traffic outside can be a bit much, especially during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get into the city. We have a small parking area out front, but it fills up fast. Inside, the floors are that old-fashioned tile that stays cold even when it is boiling outside. We spend a lot of time just organizing things. There is a lot to keep track of when you run a hospital. The reception desk is right by the entrance, and there is always someone there answering the phone or talking to a patient’s family. We aren't a corporate chain or anything like that. We are just a local spot where people come because it’s close to their house. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a loud thump, which we are all used to by now. The neighborhood around Vidhyut Nagar is mostly houses and a few shops, so we see the same faces quite often. We try to keep the waiting room tidy, but with so many people coming in with muddy shoes, it is a constant job. We just do what we can to help whoever walks through that door at No. 27. It is just normal work for us.
