Shri Balaji Motors & Service Centre

Shri Balaji Motors & Service Centre is situated near Takia Ki Chowki in Jhotwara. It is a greasy, busy place because we are always working on bikes and scooters. You will see us with oily hands most of the time. The floor is usually covered in some kind of engine oil or spare parts that we just took out. We have a couple of lifts for the vehicles and some basic tools scattered on the workbenches. It is not the kind of service center where you sit in a glass room with coffee. You usually just stand around or sit on a plastic chair while we look at your engine. We get a lot of old bikes that need a lot of work to keep running. Sometimes parts are hard to find, so we have to call around the city. The noise of engines revving and tools clanking is what we hear all day. Takia Ki Chowki is a landmark that everyone around here knows, so it makes it easy for people to find us. We don't have a big marketing budget. Our work usually speaks for itself when someone’s scooter finally stops making that weird clicking sound. We take a break for lunch when things slow down a bit, usually eating right there in the shop. We have a small radio that plays songs while we work. It helps pass the time when we are doing a long engine job.
