Shree Screen Art

If you are looking for us, we are right on M I Road, tucked away behind the Jewels Emporium. Shree Screen Art has been in this spot for a good while now. It is a bit of a maze to get back here, but once you find us, you will see all the screens and the ink containers sitting around. The smell of the chemicals and the paint is pretty strong as soon as you walk through the door. We have these long tables where the printing happens, and there is usually some project or another drying on the racks. People come in with all sorts of things, like wedding cards that need printing or some simple posters for a local event. It is a messy kind of work, and there are ink stains on almost every surface, including our clothes. The light is not great inside, but we have some big bulbs over the work areas so we can see what we are doing. When the market gets busy outside on the main road, it stays a little quieter back here, which is nice. We mostly just focus on getting the prints clear and making sure we do not run out of the right colors. Sometimes the machines act up or the screens get clogged, so we spend time cleaning them with old rags. It is just a small operation with a few of us working together and trying to keep the orders moving out on time.
