Shree Cements Ltd.

Our office is located in Raag Tower, which is part of the Megh-Malhar complex in Goregaon East. Mumbai is always moving fast, and this area is no different. We are up on the 74th floor, or at least that's the unit number. It’s a busy building with lots of different people coming and going all day long. Working for Shree Cements Ltd. from here means dealing with the city’s energy every morning. The traffic on the Western Express Highway can be a real headache, but we’re used to it by now. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have desks, some old filing cabinets, and a view of the other towers nearby. It isn't a flashy place. We just focus on getting the paperwork done and coordinating with the plants. Goregaon has grown so much lately, it’s hard to keep track of all the new construction. We’re just one small part of it all. People come by for meetings sometimes, and we usually have to clear off a chair for them to sit. It’s a bit messy, with stacks of documents everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don’t do big presentations. Most of the time it’s just us on the phones or typing away. It's a steady rhythm. The elevators take forever during lunch, so we’ve learned to be patient. That's just how life is in a Mumbai office block, and we are just fine with that.
